How we raid

Wednesday and Sunday · 21:00 to midnight

Two raid groups, one night each, the same expectations for everyone, and the same numbers on show for everyone. Here is what we ask of raiders, how we measure it and what you see once you join.

Six things we ask

Each one says what we expect, how the hub measures it and what you see once you are in.

Prep

Our approach
Arrive enchanted, gemmed and repaired, with the night’s resistance set if a fight needs it, and your addons up to date.
How we measure it
The CBA raid sheet’s gear check counts missing enchants and gems for every raid.
What you see
The raid’s gear check in the raid totals on the hub.
  • 2 Sept 25 players
  • 9 Sept 24 players
  • 16 Sept 23 players
  • 23 Sept 21 players

Flasks and elixirs

Our approach
A flask, or a battle and guardian elixir pair, on every progression pull. The guild bank keeps raid stock of the common flasks, so gold is never the reason to go without.
How we measure it
The CBA raid sheet records buff consumable uptime on bosses and flags anyone under 80%.
What you see
The raid’s consumable uptime on the hub, and a bank request for anything you are short of.
  • 2 Sept 88.7%
  • 9 Sept 90.2%
  • 16 Sept 92.1%
  • 23 Sept 93.7%

Consumes

Our approach
Potions on cooldown, runes for mana users, drums from leatherworkers, and sappers wherever a fight allows them.
How we measure it
The analyzer counts every use from the combat log; the raid sheets total them per raid.
What you see
The raid’s consumable totals on the hub, and the badges they earn you on Me.
  • 2 Sept 264
  • 9 Sept 288
  • 16 Sept 301
  • 23 Sept 318
Potions used by the raid, last four raids

Speed

Our approach
Clean pulls and short breaks. A faster clear is a better night for everyone.
How we measure it
Clear times per zone from the CBA raid sheet, and each raid’s length from the analyzer.
What you see
Each raid’s clear times in the raid totals on the hub.
  • 2 Sept 2:11:20
  • 9 Sept 2:03:47
  • 16 Sept 1:55:10
  • 23 Sept 1:48:32
BT clear time, last four raids

Badges

Our approach
We reward turning up and coming prepared, not topping meters. Each badge has four tiers named after item quality: Uncommon, Rare, Epic and Legendary.
How we measure it
The analyzer counts them across every guild raid. Pug logs never count.
What you see
Your badges and how far you are from the next tier on Me. Raid leaders see the roster’s.

Measured against ourselves

Our approach
There is no number to hit. The guild’s healing each week is compared with its own average over the four raided weeks before it, and your own number with the guild median for your role.
How we measure it
The analyzer’s healing per raid and per character, week on week, and each player’s role number in every raid.
What you see
The week-on-week healing charts and your performance against the role median, both on the hub.
